Fly: Kite Making Workshop

Saturday, September 7 • 3PM Join artist Rafael Domenech, whose sculpture ‘Las Palabras Son Muros [Pavilion for Astoria]’ is on view now at the Park, for a Kite Making Workshop! The workshop is inspired by an experimental class taught by the artist Joseph Albers at the Bauhaus – a German school of art – in the early 20th century. We will rethink the kite as a structure for display by adding text and graphics.
