Clavis Tower is part of my Stone Carriage series exploring a logical connection between humanity and nature. This steel “New York” tower incorporates a regional bluestone slab. The “natural” stone is elevated and held in precarious balance within an industrial structure. The focus is on the importance of the stone within a social context.
