Socrates Sculpture Park Access and Facilities

Access and Facilities

The Park is committed to remaining free and open to the public, every day of the year. There are two entrances on the North and South sides of the Park, which are open daily, 10am - sunset.

The Park is roughly 4.5 acres and has a paved pathway around its perimeter to allow for easy wheelchair access. Individuals or groups with special needs are always welcome and are encouraged to contact the Park with any specific questions regarding your visit: 718-956-1819

Parking is available on the streets surrounding the Park. No parking is permitted directly on the premises unless arranged in advance.

In the Summer, there are port-o-potties available on the grounds, to the left of the main (north gate) entrance.

The Park does not currently operate a daily concession stand. However, there are a number of wonderful restaurants and bars, both within a short walking distance and within a short drive from the Park. For a list of our recommendations and their websites, click here.

Please note that there is limited sheltered space within the Park. Bring your umbrella on rainy days; remember your sunscreen on sunny ones!

Alcohol and BBQing are not permitted. Dogs must be leashed at all times.
