WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS![]() SOCRATES ACADEMY: SKILLS FOR RESOURCEFUL CITY LIVING at Socrates Sculpture Park Sundays, April - June 2011 REGISTRATION REQUIRED FREE (Rain or Shine) Socrates Sculpture Park, Birkenstock and ReadyMade Magazine are pleased to present Socrates Academy: Skills for Resourceful City Living, a series of FREE adult workshops that will be offered every Sunday in April, May and June at Socrates Sculpture Park. Ten DIY workshops, led by local, eco-friendly partners, will impart sustainable skills through fun and creative projects. Space is limited and advance registration is required. The workshops are free, and all supplies will be provided. WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
REGISTRATION Socrates Academy workshops are open to adults, ages 18 and over. Space is limited and registration will be honored on a first come, first served basis. Call 718.956.1819 to register. Registration is limited to four workshops per person. These workshops are FREE of charge and all materials will be provided. The Park gratefully accepts donations to help cover the costs of its programs and will present the opportunity to make a contribution during the workshops. Or give now by clicking here. DIRECTIONS All workshops will be held at Socrates Sculpture Park, at the intersection of Vernon Boulevard and Broadway in Long Island City.
