Exhibition: Cityscape: Surveying the Urban Biotope, 2010
Black-tailed Jackrabbit, 2010
Inkjet print on vinyl
10' x 28'
The artist creates detailed drawings focusing on the environment and man's impact on it. His meticulous renderings strip animals bare so that the viewer can focus on their pure physical state and each animal's persistence in survival. For the billboard project, the artist focuses on wild, non-indigenous rabbits that once flourished in the fields of NYC's first airport.
