Untitled (Tie II) is developed from a smaller work, Untitled Tie I, 1985, made of tomato stakes, lawn furniture, and steel. They are interpretations of my surroundings --related to nature. Socrates Park provides an excellent forum to examine issues of sculpture, including some that are in these works.
